Scotts' Bed & Breakfast is located at the city end of Fairfield Road, a quiet residential area which has become the main area of Inverness for Bed and Breakfast businesses due to its proximity to both train and bus stations as well as Inverness Castle, River Ness, Eden Court Theatre and many excellent Restaurants and Bars.

All the main city attractions and services including The Castle, Bus Station and Train Station are within an easy 5-10 minute walk on level ground and the beautiful River Ness waterfront walkway is only three minutes away. Inverness Airport is a 15 minute drive.

Scotts is within a few minutes’ walk many excellent restaurants including Rocpool, The Mustard Seed, The Waterfront, River House, The Kitchen, The Rajah and Zizzi to name a few.

Inverness has a vibrant nightlife with live music every night in many of the local bars, The Gellions, Hootanannys, Johnny Foxes and The Market Bar. There are also many live performances and stage shows to be enjoyed at The Eden Court Theatre and The Ironworks Venue.

The main shopping areas, including The Eastgate and High street are a short walk and Tesco, Aldi and Lidl are all close by.

Inverness is also the designated start and finishing point for the North Coast 500, and The Great Glen Way

You may also wish to spend some of your time in this beautiful area to visit a few of our historic sites, including Culloden Battlefield, Clava Cairns, Cawdor Castle, Brodie Castle, Urquhart Caste and Eilen Donnan on the road to The Isle Of Skye or perhaps you might visit one of the many Whisky Distilleries within an hour’s drive, including Glenmorangie, Glenmoray, Ben Romach and many more on the Speyside Whisky Trail. Private hire guided tours to many of these places are available with local operators.

For the wildlife enthusiasts we have The Highland Wildlife Park at Kingussie and The Munlochy Wildlife centre just a short drive away and you may like to take a cruise on Loch Ness to see if you can spot Nessie our world famous monster! The area is also popular for Dolphin spotting on the nearby Moray coast and short cruises are available daily depending on the weather.
